The number one reason why senior leadership teams don't focus on more strategic things is.....
"There isn't enough time."
This came up this week, and that came up last week. Yada yada yada.
No wonder why senior leadership teams struggle so much to do little more than information sharing.

In her article Lessons from Team Fumbles, Susan Lucia Annunzio goes on to say "Once-venerable institutions such as Bear Stearns, Lehman Brothers, Merrill Lynch and Royal Bank of Scotland paid the ultimate price for the behaviors of their leadership teams."
